BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. The EU intends to continue developing trade with Azerbaijan and the country's investment opportunities, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko told Trend.
According to him, the EU supports Azerbaijan in creating tools that promote growth of economic cooperation.
"One of important points in this regard is the possibility of investing in renewable energy sources, digital transformation, and transport sector. These areas are the most important in our cooperation," Michalko said.
According to diplomat, the EU will support 25,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Azerbaijan.
"Cooperation in this direction will be an important contribution to economic development of Azerbaijan," Michalko added.
