Cost of paid services rendered in Baku increase over year

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. The cost of paid services provided to the population in Baku from January through June 2023 increased by 17.5 percent compared to the same indicator in 2022 and amounted to 3.24 billion manat ($1.9 billion), Trend reports.

According to the Baku City Statistics Department, during the defined time, legal entities supplied services to the Baku people for 2.5 billion manat ($1.5 billion), accounting for 76.8 percent of the total cost of services rendered.

The cost of paid services offered to the Baku population in 2022 increased by 9.1 percent over 2021, totaling 5.7 billion manat ($3.3 billion).

According to the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee, the cost of paid services supplied to the population in Azerbaijan in 2022 increased by 8 percent over 2021, totaling 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).
