BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) foresees Europe's oil and liquid fuels production hitting 4.11 mb/d in 2025, Trend reports.
According to the projections, the region's output is expected to see a modest increase compared to the estimated 4.05 mb/d in 2024 and 3.94 mb/d in 2023. The breakdown for 2025 includes a forecast of 4.18 mb/d in the first quarter, 4.09 mb/d in the second quarter, 4 mb/d in the third quarter, and 4.17 mb/d in the fourth quarter.
Norway, being the primary producer in the region, is expected to raise output from an estimated 2.09 mb/d in 2024 to 2.17 mb/d in 2024. Specifically, the country's oil production is anticipated to be 2.2 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, 2.13 mb/d in the second quarter, 2.12 mb/d in the third quarter, and 2.21 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Concurrently, the oil output forecast for the UK is projected to reach 0.81 mb/d for the entirety of 2025, according to EIA estimations (compared to 0.83 mb/d in 2024). The breakdown for 2025 includes projections of 0.84 mb/d in the first quarter, 0.83 mb/d in the second quarter, 0.74 mb/d in the third quarter, and 0.83 mb/d in the fourth quarter.
