BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 19. The Ryazan region of Russia has inked two contracts following its engagement in a business mission to Azerbaijan, with negotiations underway for an additional 25 contracts, Deputy Chairperson of the regional government Yulia Shvakova said on the VKontakte social network, Trend reports.

According to her, the host side showed interest in purchasing confectionery products, equipment for product labeling, office supplies, glass, and glassware, as well as roofing materials from manufacturers in the Ryazan region.

"The results affirm that engaging in business missions abroad remains one of the most effective approaches for regional companies to broaden their sales markets. This year, similar trips will be arranged for China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan," she said.

On March 15, the business mission of the Ryazan region to Azerbaijan concluded, featuring the participation of 16 export-oriented companies from the region spanning various sectors including construction, food, IT, device and equipment manufacturing, children's goods, furniture, and pet supplies.
