The construction of another Coca-Cola plant in Georgia is being completed, and it will be commission soon, President of Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia Ltd. Temur Chkoniasaid said, Trend reports citing Georgian media.
The plant was built in the village of Natakhtari of the Georgia's Mtskheta municipality.
As reported, the new Coca-Cola plant will be fully commissioned in late spring of 2020. Meanwhile, another of Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia Ltd. plant operates in Tbilisi.
“Now is the final stage of preparation, and we will open the factory in this spring,” says Chkonia.
The project consists of two stages. The first phase of the project consisted of the construction of industrial and warehouse buildings with an area of 18,000 square meters, office space, laboratories and other technical premises with an area of 760 square meters.
The second phase included landscaping of an area of 15,000 square meters, including parking, as well as a new headquarters of 2,000 square meters.
The factory will also have a museum with exhibits, showcasing the history of the Coca-Cola company. The total investment in the project is about 22 million euros.
