Azerbaijan’s Gazakh Cement Plant LLC together with Germany-based Sustained Visions (SUSVI) and Turkish DAL Teknik Makina (DAL) companies has successfully accomplished the upgrade project of the clinker kiln line in Gazakh district, Trend reports referring to the German company.
According to the company, the initial kiln at the plant was built by a Chinese OEM and commissioned in 2013 with a daily clinker production capacity of 2,400 tons.
"The project comprised an upgrade of the Raw Mill, the pre-heater section, clinker cooler and clinker transport. The key equipment was supplied and installed by DAL Teknik Makina from Turkey, the company said.
The plant was upgraded in two phases from a daily clinker production of 2,400 tons to 3,550 tons with significant reduction in specific energy consumption and CO² emission.
SUSVI is cooperating closely with the plant since 2017. During peak times of the project, SUSVI had a team of five experts on site, including the Project manager, Quality surveyors and supervisors managing the various subcontractors.
