Georgia Wants to Purchase Azerbaijani Flour – Prime Minister
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / Georgia is negotiating with Azerbaijan on purchasing flour, Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli told journalists, KAVKAZ-PRESS reported.
According to Nogaideli, Georgian Agriculture Minister Petre Tsiskarishvili is currently engaged in negotiating Azerbaijani flour purchases in Baku.
Georgia is also negotiating flour and wheat purchases with the Ukraine and Kazakhstan, Nogaideli said.
On 24 October, Minister Tsiskarishvili met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ismat Abbasov. They discussed the development of prospective agrarian cooperation, the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry reported on 25 October.
As to purchasing Azerbaijani flour, the Ministry reported that the negotiations are being held through the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry.
