The Government of Kazakhstan intends to regulate the issues concerning the tariffs by intervening in the national company of KazMunayGas, stated the Prime Minister Karim Masimov.
"In 2008, we will try to prevent the rise of inflation, as well as the rise in the prices of oil products, gas and electric energy, as they are the main factors which influences the inflation," Masimov added. He said that prices will not rise in the tariffs, in the first quarter of 2008. The first meeting of the government will be dedicated to the tariff issues. "We should take an effective measures," Masimov added.
