Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 January / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / On 16 Jan, Gunay-Anadolu Sigorta, the joint Azerbaijani-Turkish insurance company released the results of its activities in 2007.
The premiums collected by the Gunay-Anadolu Sigorta from January to December 2007 made up AZN 1.043mln, which is 45.8% less than in 2006 (AZN 1.926mln). The payments of the company in 2007 comprised AZN 512,300, which is by 67% more than in 2006 (AZN 305,600).
The founders of the Gunay-Anadolu Sigorta are Azerbaijani -Gunay bank and Turkish -Anadolu Anonim insurance company. Gunay-Anadolu Sigorta works with the re-insurance companies - Munich Reinsurance Company ( Germany), Swiss Reinsurance Company ( Switzerland), Cologne Reinsurance Co. Ltd ( Germany), Assicurazioni Generali S.P.A. ( Italy), Royal & Sun Alliance Reinsurance ( England), American Re-Insurance Company (USA) and Scor Reinsurance (France).
