Georgia, Tbilisi, 23 October / Trend , corr. N.Kirtskhalia /Robert Mosbacher, the President of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), will arrive in Georgia on 27 October. Mosbacher is expected to clarify the projects that the corporation plans to implement in Georgia.
OPIC has been operating in Georgia for ten years term. Besides the financial sector, the corporation plans to invest in the agrarian sector, tourism and service spheres.
Currently, the corporation has already invested $70mln in seven projects including the largest project on construction of the Merriott hotel in Tbilisi.
OPIC is to invest $250mln to Georgia and $80mln of the sum will be directed to banks.
