Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 November /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / "For financing the measures for the food security in Azerbaijan, for the first time, the 2009 Public budget will allocate AZN 60mln," Finance Minister of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, during discussions on the project of Public budget for 2009-2012 at the joint meeting of the parliamentary commissions.
State Reliable Foodstuff Supply Program of Azerbaijan for 2008-2015 was approved on 25 August 2008.
The Minister said that next year there are plans to allocate AZN 77mln for covering 50% of cost of the mineral fertilizers and fuels and lubricants bought by farmers. Besides, AZN 40mln will be provided for Agrolizing OSC in support of the agrarian sector.
The Public budget of Azerbaijan envisages providing AZN 10mln for agricultural crediting.
