Crisis Positively to Influence on Use of Marketing Technologies in Kazakhstan: Professional Market Researchers Association

Kazakhstan, Astana, 1 December / Trend corr. K.Konirova/ "Turnover and activity of more than 50% of Kazakh companies has been reduced," Zhanna Jandosova, the President of the Professional Market Researchers Association, said during the round table on 1 December.

Turnovers of 52% of companies have been reduced and 11% of them - considerably.

"Basically, reduction of business activity is observed amongst enterprises, connected to construction, finance, production and realization of equipments. There is not any reduction of turnover at about 44% of enterprises and 4% of them inform about rise," Jandosova said.

Representatives of leading research agencies, heads of companies, marketologs and analysts participated in the round table, organized by the association and they discussed a situation at the market, aroused as a result of the global financial crisis.

According to investigations, submitted by the President of the Association, despite the forecast some reductions of marketing budgets, the definite sectors plan to hold investigation even under conditions of the crisis.

The crisis may have a positive impact on a plan of expansion of marketing and research technologies of the companies, as well as on more efficient use of research to follow activities of rivals, participants of the round table said.

"As a result of the crisis, it is forecast that use of information technologies will rise both in marketing and research, as well as research budget will rise from 2% to 5% in marketing expenses," some experts said.
