Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 17/ Trend / In Jan.-Oct. Azerbaijan imported 72,291 passenger cars which is 29.7% more than ten months of 2007.
According to the State Statistics Committee, cost of import cars totaled $539mln which is 51.7% more than the same period of 2007.
In Jan.-Oct., Azerbaijan imported 9,188 lorries which is 24% more than the same period of 2007. Total cost of cars totaled $200mln which is 106.7% more than the same period of 2007.
About 1,356 buses in amount of approximately $56.2mln were imported into the Republic. This index exceeds data of January-October of the last year by 249.5%.
