Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC continues to take prophylactic measures against swine flu: representative of CJSC

If Azerbaijani citizens infected with swine flu (A/H1/N1) arrived by Azerbaijani airlines CJSC (AZAL), these planes will be disinfected, head of press-service of CJSC, Maharram Safarli, said on July 30. 

"If these citizens arrived in Azerbaijan by our planes, these planes will sure to be disinfected and washed by special disinfected detergents," Safarli said.

Safarli did not tell whether these planes are owned by AZAL CJSC, Safarli said.

Safarli said that CJSC has no special equipment to reveal A/H1/N1 virus. But AZAL conducts necessary explanatory operations among flying and land crew members. All necessary actions to render first and urgent medical-prophylactic aid are prepared to reveal virus. CJSC bought necessary special disinfected detergents to disinfect planes, freights, cars and land facilities if virus is revealed. All necessary preparations, masks, special antiseptic napkins are prepared for disinfection," Safarli said.     

According to Azerbaijani ministry of health, one Baku's resident and one Ganja's resident were infected coming from France (on July 27) and Great Britain (July 29). 

State of patients is satisfactory. At present, they are treated by doctors.

Prophylactic actions are held towards people contacting with infected.
