Number of tourists leaving or arriving in Azerbaijan is not reduced due to two laboratory analyses on swine flu (A/H1/N1) in Azerbaijan, head of tourism sector of the Azerbaijani ministry of culture and tourism, Aydin Ismiyev, said on July 31.

"Almost all tickets were bought by people leaving for tourist trips for the nearest weeks," Ismiyev said.

He said that number of tourists is not reduced on internal market. It is impossible to cease it.

Imiyev said that if prophylactic measures against swine flu are toughened at all check-points, as well as resort zones, it is possible to avoid reduction of tourists.

Swine flu is revealed for the first time in Azerbaijan on July 30, the Azerbaijani ministry of health said on July 31.

One Baku's resident and one Ganja's resident were infected coming from France (on July 27) and Great Britain (July 29).

State of patients is satisfactory. At present, they are treated by doctors.

Prophylactic actions are held towards people contacting with infected.
