Turkish multidisciplinary Polimex company completes construction of the airport complex of international class in Turkmenbashi. It will have new runway, the official Turkmen source said.
He said that Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has got familiarized with the operations recently. The project worth €125 million will be paid off on state budget funds. The capacity of the facility per hour is up to 6 aircrafts and 800 passengers. The port will receive aircrafts with takeoff weight of up to 400 tons.
The three-kilometer-runway, as well as the warehouse of fuel and lubricants and platform with central refueling of almost all types of planes are being constructed rapidly.
The Turkmen press said offices of Foreign Economic Bank, Western Union, exchange centers, agencies of air, railway and sea transport will operate in the passenger terminal. Offices of the Consulate to give visas rapidly, the passport control, customs and border services will be also placed there.

German Siemens company will deliver lighting equipment and e-communications. Future employees were specially trained in France and Germany.
Filling from the central filling station was envisaged within the project. But airkerosene will be supplied via pipeline from the nearest largest oil refinery.
