Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug.24 / Trend U.Ismayilova /
Azerbaijan is creating a system of national accreditation, the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents said on Aug. 24.
The Committee has accelerated the development of a national accreditation system. The departments of the committee are actively working to bring it in line with international standards and legal regulations, the committee said.
The basic documents of the national accreditation system, which is the 'Fundamental articles of the accreditation system', 'The accreditation system's mark', and the 'Rules of registry', have already been developed, the same source said.
The Statistics Committee also plans to introduce international standards into the field of İSO / İEK 17025 (the basic requirements for the authority to test and calibrate), the committee said.
The accreditation system is also being used in the national certification system of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents, the same source added.
The product's compliance with technical regulations, standards and economic channels is confirmed by the relevant authorities in the field of technical regulation, which includes both certification bodies and testing laboratories. Society and businesses should be confident in the competence of the organizations providing the accreditation procedure. The accreditation confirms the competence of organizations carrying out compliance assessments and increases consumer confidence in the products they purchase and use.
