Preparatory measures for the construction of Dehloran Petrochemical Complex in western Ilam province have concluded and executive operations started, the Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday.
Dehloran Petrochemical Complex is projected to annually produce over 1.4 million tons of petrochemical products including ethylene, polyethylene, olefin, and ethane.
National Petrochemical Company will secure ten percent of the required budget and the other 90 percent will be financed by the private sector. The project is estimated to be complete in four years.
