The Polish delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister on economic affairs Pavel Voytzekhovskiy will arrive in Ashkhabad in the second half of November, 2009

The Polish Embassy in Turkmenistan served as the EU representation in the first part of 2009. Several EU delegations have visited in Ashkhabad during this period.
The Polish Embassy held the Poland-Turkmenistan consultations in Warsaw in May, 2009. Polish President Lekh Kachinskiy and Turkmen President Kurbankuli Berdimohammedov met at the UN General Assembly. Both presidents expressed hope for further development of bilateral relations on the diplomatic, trade and economic levels.
The Polish diplomatic mission has operated in Ashkhabad for over two years
