Azerbaijan is likely to receive about 700-800 new large buses of Daewoo in 2010, Azerbaijani Transport Ministry's secretariat head Namig Hasanov said today.
"The new buses should be imported on the basis of a contract on purchase of 1,000 new buses signed between City Bus Company and Korean Daewoo," Hasanov said.
"About 200-300 buses were imported under the contract in 2009," Hasanov added. "City Bus can get the rest buses completely and partially."
The country has imported about 1,600 new buses since 2008, including about 1,000 buses supplied in 2009.
