The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development seized and destroyed about 355 kilograms of expired products, the ministry said.
Monitoring were conducted in Binagadi, Sabail, Nasimi, Khatai and Nizami districts of Baku, Gadabey, Lankaran, Ujar, Khachmaz and Agdam regions.
Expired products - sausage, pastry, butter, milk and dairy products, flour products, canned foods, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer and others were confiscated.
Administrative measures were applied to physical and legal entities - perpetrators of consumer rights.
