Azerbaijan's state budget yield executed by 93.6 percent in third quarter

The public budget income comprised 7504,5 million manat compared to projected 8017,7 million manat for three quarters. This index increased by 3.7 percent or 269,5 million manat, compared to the same period of last year, and the budget revenues was fulfilled by 93,6 percent, the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry reported.

The Taxes Ministry remitted 3127,5 million manat, or 41,7 percent to the public budget. The State Customs Committee remitted 9.7 percent or 730,2 million manat. The State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) remitted 48.3 percent of all income, or 3625 million manat to the Public budget, other sources - 0.3 percent or 18.3 million manat.

The tax authorities executed forecast for 100.6 percent, transferring 3127.5 million manat to the state budget. It is 18.4 million manat more than the forecast and 21.8 percent or 559.7 million manat more than the corresponding figure for the same period of last year. The State Customs Committee executed the forecast of customs fees by 100 percent. The State Property Committee transferred 3.5 million manat to the state budget.

The state budget expenditures amounted to 6836.6 million manat within the first three quarters compared to the forecast worth 8146.4 million manat. The expenditure part of the state budget for nine months was executed by 83.9 percent.

About 32 percent of total amount state expenses or 2.065 billion manat were spent to finance education, health, social welfare, culture.

This figure is 6.4 percent or 123.8 million manat more than the same period of last year.

About 96.7 million manat of the budget funds were spent on defense (with a specific weight of 20 percent), agriculture and forestry, fishery and environmental protection - 33,2 million manat (14.2 percent), social protection and social software - 111,4 million manat (13.9 percent), housing and utility costs - 11,8 million manat (9,4 percent), arts, culture and physical education - 8.3 million manat (8,3 percent).

About 36.4 million manat (7 percent) were spent on the national services, health care - 15,1 million manat (5,9 percent), the prosecution, security, law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities - 20,2 million manat (4,8 percent).

About 2128.2 million manat were spent on construction and reconstruction of socio-cultural, administrative and residential facilities during the first three quarters of this year, including educational facilities - 80.8 million manat, health - 42,7 million manat, culture-101 million manat, sports - 40.9 million manat, social protection and social security - 34.8 million manat, construction of electricity infrastructure - 89,5 million manat, reconstruction of irrigation and drainage system in the regions - 170.3 million manat, construction of roads and their reconstruction - 846 million manat, purchase of equipment and construction of transport facilities for the Baku Metro - 106.3 million manat, other purposes - 615.9 million manat.

During the reporting period about 108 million manat were allocated from the Reserve Fund of the Azerbaijani President, 106 million manat were allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget to finance the events envisaged by the budget.
