The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan amounted to 321.2 manat in January-November , which is 7.7 percent more than last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
The highest salary was recorded in the extractive industries, in the spheres of finance, information and communications, scientific and technological activities, as well as in the construction sector.
Employees of enterprises and organizations received social benefits totaling 12 million manat. Major beneficiaries were employees of the extractive industry, energy, gas and water producing and distributing enterprises, refining industry, transport and communications.
Nominal income per capita amounted to 2.539.9 manat, which is 10.7 percent more than the figure of the last year. Real cash income per capita amounted to 2.313.8 manat with a growth of 11.2 percent.
During the reported period, the nominal incomes of the population in Azerbaijan amounted to 22.678.4 million manat, which is 12 percent higher than last year. Real money incomes of population during this period reached 20.659.1 million manat, increasing by 12.8 percent.
The population directed 69.4 percent of personal incomes to purchase of goods and services, 8.9 percent - payment of taxes, social insurance and mandatory dues, and 20 percent - the accumulation and capital increase.
