The State Leasing Company - JSC Aqrolizing since starting its activity in 2005 and to date has provided local farmers in leasing with 10,951 units of farming machines, Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Ismet Abbasov said in an article published in the official press on Wednesday.
"In particular, farmers were provided with 990 units of combine for grain harvesting, 3,045 tractors, 140 excavators, 67 sets of process equipment," the minister said.
According to him, in 2010, for producers of agricultural products in 2010 nine plants were commissioned for the processing of milk, 30 sets of cooling chambers, eight plants for production of mixed feed, two plants for processing of nuts, four sets for fruit drying , Four drip irrigation system, four plants for the production of vegetable oil, five greenhouses and one set of process equipment for incubators.
Also during this period, farmers were provided with 298,600 tons of mineral fertilizers, 298,600 tons of pesticides, the minister said.
JSC "Aqrolizing" was established in October 2004 and operates under the Agriculture Ministry. The organization has service centers in 55 regions of the country. In 2011 35 million manat will be allocated from the state budget for "Aqrolizing". Some 12 million manat of these funds will be spent to purchase tractors and farming machines.
