In January 2011 the volume of trade in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 6.8 percent in comparison with January 2010, as reported by the National Statistics Committee.

In January 2011 the volume of trade in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 6.8 percent in comparison with January 2010, as reported by the National Statistics Committee, news agency "24.kg" reported.

According to it, trade turnover, as well as repair of motor vehicles, household equipment and personal items totaled KGS 12.922.3 billion. Hotels and restaurants services in January came up to KGS 592.9 million (decrease - 8.6 percent).

At the same time amount of postal services and telecommunications grew by 3.9 percent. It totaled KGS 1.308.5 billion at January 2011 end.
