In the current marketing year, as of the beginning of March 2011, Kazakhstan exported nearly 5 mln tonnes of grains of the harvest-2010, declared Akhylbek Kurishbaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on March 10, Agrimarket reported.
General grain production volumes of the harvest-2010 totaled 12.2 mln tonnes in clean weight.
In 2009, Kazakhstan produced 22.7 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight, or 20 mln tonnes in clean weight.
