A meeting marking the 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan`s independence has been held at Kapital Bank`s headquarters. Speakers at the event stressed the historical importance of Azerbaijan`s gaining its independence, and highlighted the country`s achievements in 20 years.
They praised national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in strengthening Azerbaijan`s state independence and ensuring the country`s sustainable development. The speakers said that launched by the national leader, Azerbaijan`s strategic development policy is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. They said the country`s socio-economic development and growing international image were the result of this policy.
The speakers also highlighted the country`s achievements in the banking and financial sector since restoring its independence. They said reforms and innovations in this field give impetus to Azerbaijan`s banking and financial sector and open up good prospects for its future development.
