Russian railways suspends sale of tickets to Tajik train

The Russian railways have temporarily suspended selling tickets to Tajik city of Kulyab, Russian Railways' official website reported.

"Russian Railways have announced temporary suspension of tickets sales in the direction of stations located in some areas following Uzbek railways' decision to close traffic on the Galaba - Amuzang span," KyrTAG reported.

Tickets will not be sold the Moscow-Kulyab train 329/330 in the route between the stations Amuzang and Kulyab.

The traffic was suspended due to destruction of backup abutment of the railway bridge on the Galaba - Amuzang span.

"Table of further functioning of the train will be announced later, as the Russian Railways requested relevant information from the Tajik and Uzbek railways," the Russian Railways said.

The Moscow-Kulyab passenger train belonging to the Tajik Railways starts from the Kazan station in Moscow on Tuesdays and Fridays.
