National Welfare Fund Samruk Kazyna of Kazakhstan attracted more than $4 billion of French investments, deputy chairman of the fund Kuandyk Bishimbayev told reporters on Wednesday.

Bishimbayev said, the French AREVA is implementing a project together with Kazatomprom on the field of nuclear energy. Joint venture for the production of helicopters is created in conjunction with Eurocopter / EADS. In addition, projects for the production of photovoltaic modules based on Kazakh silicon, creation of an automated control system of the railway system, a joint venture to produce electric switches of Alstom company development is implemented in conjunction with a consortium of French companies.

"Kazakh-French relations and business cooperation are becoming more dynamic and progressive," Bishimbayev said.
