Turkish exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $181.5 million in January compared to $144.8 million during the same period in 2011, the Council of exporters in Turkey said on Thursday.
The range of products exported by Turkey to Azerbaijan (including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic), consists of wood products (worth $17.28 million), cement ($7.658 million), precious stones and jewelery ($1.9 million), production of iron and steel ($19 million), non-ferrous metals ($3.046 million), leather ($1.345 million), other products ($162,000 dollars), electricity ($19.9 million), carpets ($2.159 million) and chemical products ($29.6 million), machinery ($12 million), textiles ($597,000), the defense industry ($18,000).
The main export of Turkish goods was made to Germany - $1.040 billion, Iraq - $752 million and the UK - $625 million in January 2012.
