A pendant bridge will be commissioned by late May as part of a major road complex near the Koroglu metro station, JSC Azeryolservis (road construction and commissioning) of the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan Punhan Mursaliyev told Trend on Monday.
He said work on the construction of the new bridge with a length of 325 linear metres is almost complete.
"Now that the casing dismantling is underway, the bridge may be commissioned this month," Mursaliyev said.
In total the road junction near the Koroglu metro station includes nine bridges and 11 highways. The total length is 3600 linear metres.
Work on the construction of new road junctions and pedestrian crossings are being conducted for unloading and facilitating movement on roads in Baku.
