The number of registered enterprises in Turkey in September 2012 increased by 12.53 percent compared to the previous month, a report of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Turkey posted on its official website on Friday says.
The number of enterprises in the trade sphere, established in September increased by 5.7 percent, while cooperatives - by 11.1 percent.
The total number of enterprises closed down decreased by 7.8 percent during the reporting period compared to the previous month, while the number of closed down commercial facilities - by 24.5 percent, cooperatives - by 13 percent.
Compared to September 2011, the total number of registered enterprises decreased by 40 percent, commercial facilities - by 18.3 percent, cooperatives - by 7.1 percent.
According to the report, the number of the enterprises closed down increased by 0.6 percent within the year, enterprises in the trade sphere decreased by 12.3 percent, cooperatives - by 57 percent.
