Kazakhstan finishes negotiations on access to goods

Kazakhstan has finished bilateral negotiations on access to the goods and services market in 29 countries, Economic Development and Trade Minister Yerbolat Dosayev stated at a meeting on Tuesday.

Kazakhstan has finished bilateral negotiations on access to the goods and services market in 29 countries, Economic Development and Trade Minister Yerbolat Dosayev stated at a meeting on Tuesday.

"A road map on Kazakhstan's accession to the WTO has been developed with the assistance of WTO Secretariat. Kazakhstan completed bilateral negotiations on access to goods and services market in 29 countries. Multilateral negotiations are in process," Dosayev added.

He noted that 17 agreements, composing the legal framework of Common Economic Space (CES), came into force since January 1 2012. CES will enter the full work regime step by step.

The Senate adopted the law on the ratification of the Free Trade Zone Agreement on October 4 to create a common contractual basis in the CIS and the remove barriers of mutual trade.
