Turkey established 153 more companies backed by Azerbaijani capital

The number of registered companies in Turkey increased by 11.61 per cent in November 2012 compared to the previous month, reaching 5200, a report from the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Turkey published on its official website on Friday says.

The number of registered companies in Turkey increased by 11.61 per cent in November 2012 compared to the previous month, reaching 5200, a report from the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Turkey published on its official website on Friday says.

The number of trade enterprises created in November grew by 4.48 per cent and of cooperatives by 3.45 per cent.

The total number of businesses closed during the aforementioned period increased by 10.93 per cent compared to the previous month, the number of abandoned commercial enterprises, by 12.43 per cent and cooperatives by 4.93 per cent.

Compared to November 2011, the total number of registered enterprises decreased by 4.9 per cent, of trading companies by 26.09 per cent and cooperatives by 1.62 per cent.

According to the report, the number of closed facilities during the year increased by 48.38 per cent, whose figures are broken down to trade enterprises 37.54 per cent and cooperatives by 2.88 per cent.

1400 companies with foreign investors were created in November. Of these,732 were set up with the participation of Iranian investments, 300 with German investments and 153 with Azerbaijani investments.

In November 42 per cent of companies registered for activities in Istanbul, 10.5 per cent in Ankara and 6.2 per cent in Izmir.
