Inflation in Azerbaijan is forecasted at 3-5 percent in 2013.
Chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, Arif Veliyev made this statement at a press conference on the results of last year.
He said in 2012 compared to 2011, consumer prices and tariffs for services increased by 1.1 percent, including food prices rose by 0.8 percent and non-food products - by one percent, tariffs for services - by 1.2 percent.
"In December, inflation was 0.7 percent. Food products increased in price by 1.3 percent, prices for non-food products and services did not change," Veliyev said.
