Kazakhstan works to create a single grain holding, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to Deputy Agriculture Minister Muslim Umiryaev.
The holding will be created on the base of the Kazakh Food Contract Corporation to implement the Kazakh President's order.
"The Ministry has developed a concept of creating a single grain holding," Deputy Minister said while presenting a draft law on 'Amendments and supplements to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of the grain market' in the Majilis (Parliament's lower chamber) on Thursday.
According to Umiryaev, the state commission on economic modernization will discuss
the concept on Friday.
