Kazakhstan plans to increase car production to 300,000 in 2020

Kazakhstan is going to increase automobile production to 300,000 units in 2020, Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev said at a government meeting on Tuesday, Kazakh Prime-Minister's press-service reported.
According to Issekeshev, Kazakhstan produced about 19,000 cars in 2012 (sixfold increase compared to 2010).
2,553 vehicles of domestic production with a total value of 11.7 billion tenge (151.24 tenge = $1) were sold in Kazakhstan in 2012.
Issekeshev also mentioned an increase in the agricultural machinery production. Kazakhstan increased its agricultural machinery production including production of tractors and combine harvesters by 2.6 times from 8 to 21 billion tenge in 2010-2012.
