The companies engaged in producing building materials in Azerbaijan, made goods worth 105.1 million manat in January-April 2013, which is 25.5 per cent more than the same period of 2012, the State Statistics Committee said today.
According to the information, the companies produced 565,200 tons of cement in January-April 2013 (an increase of 6.3 per cent per year), 62,200 tons of construction gypsum (increase of 2.4 times), 395,500 tons of ready-mixed concrete (increase of 8.3 per cent).
The stocks of construction materials worth 16.7 million manat, which is 5.9 per cent of the total finished goods in the country were created at the warehouses of enterprises by May 1, 2013.
