As long as Armenia does not put an end to its aggressive policy, its participation in any regional project will be impossible, the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev said during a speech at the Azerbaijani-Georgian-Turkish business forum in Gabala on Saturday.
"As a result of its aggressive policy, Armenia remains outside the regional projects. Thus, it heads to the political, socio-economic and demographic abyss," the Minister said.
The continuing aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, its territorial claims to neighboring countries pose serious obstacles to the expansion of regional cooperation. This policy leads to Armenia being locked out of all regional projects, Mustafayev said.
According to Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, as long as the Armenian side does not put an end to its occupation of Azerbaijani lands, Turkey will not support any elations with Armenia.
"The problems of Azerbaijan are our problems, and the joy of Azerbaijan is our joy," Caglayan said.
