U.S. dollar and British pound rose, but euro fell on Iran's Forex Center today compared with Thursday, IRNA reported.
U.S. dollar rose 10 rials to 24,797 rials.
British pound was sold at 38,940 rials, up 797 rials. But, euro was sold at 33,097 rials, down 20 rials compared with Thursday.
Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar was sold at 36,500 rials in the free market.
The Tehran Forex center was officially inaugurated on September 24, 2012. It allows importers of goods to buy dollars at a rate 2 percent cheaper than the street rate at any given time.
But, the government maintains an official reference rate of 12,260 rials to the dollar, but only a limited amount of foreign exchange is available at this rate.
