Exports to Asia constitute 92 percent of Iran's total exports

Asia and Europe shared approximately 96.01 percent of Iran's total non-oil export value during the first three months of the current solar year, which began on March 21, the Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported.

Asia and Europe shared approximately 96.01 percent of Iran's total non-oil export value during the first three months of the current solar year, which began on March 21, the Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported.

According to the report, Asia has the largest share of Iran's total exports with 91.95, while the share of Europe, Africa, America and Oceania is 4.06, 3.99, 3.46, 0.46, and 0.07 percent respectively during this period.

In Asia, China is Iran's main non-oil exports target, which imported $1,712 billion worth of goods from Iran, while in Europe the main share belongs to Russia at $92 million. In Africa, Egypt is Iran's main export target with $170 million worth imports from Iran.

China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and India shared totally 79.94 percent of Iran's exported goods in weight, and 69.51 percent in value.

Iran's total non-oil exports including gas condensate and petrochemical products during the first quarter (March 20-May20) reached $9.751 billion, while imports reached $9.395 billion during that period.
