Suitcase trade between Iran and CIS increases by 15 percent

The suitcase trade between Iran and the Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS) has increased by 15 percent during the first six months of the current solar year (started on March 21) compared to same period of the last solar year, the website of the Islamic republic of Iran customs administrations(IRICA) reported.

According to the report, during the period, Iran exported goods worth 34.218 million euros ($45.008 million) in the suitcase trade through Iran's border customs to CIS countries which shares 0.318 percent of the total export value of the country.

During the same period of the last solar year, the same trade was worth 30.775 million euros ($39.060 million which was 0.24 percent of the total export value of the country during that period.
