It is projected that Azerbaijan will produce 580 passenger cars in 2014 compared to 570 expected this year, Azerbaijan's socio-economic development concept for 2014 and the next three years said.
According to the document, Azerbaijan plans to produce 580, 600 and 620 passenger cars in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The country is expected to produce 230 trucks in 2014 compared to 220 cars expected this year.
Growth in truck production is expected in the next few years. In particular, around 250 trucks are expected to be produced in the country in 2015, while 295 cars in 2016 and 2017.
