The Turkish seaplanes received permission to use the country's inland waters for takeoff and landing, the Turkish Civil Aviation Administration reported today.
The seaplanes are allowed to use lakes such as Lake Egirdir in Isparta Province, Lake Van in Van province, Lake Beysehir in Konya province, Lake Sapanca in Sakarya province, as well as other lakes in the country for takeoff and landing, according to the report.
The seaplanes make daily flights to eight Turkish provinces.
The ticket price is 100 Turkish lira.
The official exchange rate is 2.0482 TRY/USD on Dec. 6.
