Georgia's foreign trade turnover with CIS countries amounted to $3.787 billion in 2013, which is 17 percent more than in 2012.
The export amounted to $1.621 billion (increase of 30 percent) and import amounted to $2.166 billion (increase of seven percent), GruzStat said on Jan.24.
The share of these countries in Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to 35 percent, including 56 percent for export and 28 percent for import (32.52 percent and 25 percent respectively in 2012).
Some 11 percent of the trade deficit falls to CIS countries (14 percent in 2012).
