Kazakhstan will launch 13 new air routes in 2014

By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakhstan will launch 13 new air routes in 2014, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported on Feb. 3 with the reference to Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry.

"The air fleet will be replenished by 14 aircrafts," the Ministry said.

Kazakhstan will also continue to develop airports' infrastructure.
The passenger terminal of the international airport of Astana will be reconstructed. The Ministry will also start the reconstruction of runways in the airports of Uralsk and Petropavlovsk. Reconstruction of runways in 13 other Kazakh cities has been completed.

The airports of Astana, Almaty and Aktau will introduce standards for handling of disabled passengers.
