The Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies together with the Singaporean JURONG Consultants company are starting the development and introduction of the new model management of special economic zones. "Park of innovative technologies" free economic zone will be as pilot project, the ministry's press service said.
The new management model presumes the introduction of efficient organizational structure of the governing body, optimizing internal business processes and interaction procedures, organizing the work on the "one window" principle.
Work on the part of investors to the special economic zone will be brought to a new level and will be based on a detailed analysis of the market, determining the target audience of potential investors, developing of marketing strategy and plan, conduction of "road shows" and the training of staff of the management company of the free economic zone.
The positive experience of the pilot special economic zone will be introduced subsequently to the rest of the specific economic zones of Kazakhstan.
This will increase the investment attractiveness and economic impact of domestic specific economic zones, and bring them into the international management standards.
Furthermore, the work on the creation of single corporate center for the development and promotion of specific economic zone on the basis of "KAZNEX INVEST" JSC MINT RK is being carried out together with "JURONG Consultants".
