Khalid Ahadov has been appointed the Chairman of the Management Board at the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), the bank told Trend Jan. 10.
It was decided during the extraordinary meeting of the IBA shareholders on Jan. 10.
Ahadov was appointed IBA acting chairman on Dec. 8, 2016. He succeeded Elmar Mammadov on this position.
Ahadov started his career in the banking sector in 1999.
Meanwhile, Agshin Amirov became the new deputy chairman of the IBA Management Board. Previously Amirov has served as deputy chairman of management board at Bank Respublika.
Therefore, the number of IBA deputy chairmen has reached four: Ulvi Mansurov, Murad Shiraliyev, Elmir Habibullayev and Agshin Amirov.
The International Bank of Azerbaijan started to operate on Jan. 10, 1992.
