Inflation rate in Kazakhstan hit 0.8 percent in Jan. 2017, Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.
Food prices have increased by 1.2 percent, non-food items’ prices have gone up by 0.7 percent, and paid services’ prices have increased by 0.4 percent since early 2017.
In Jan. 2016 –Jan. 2017, the inflation rate was 7.9 percent. Food prices have increased by 9 percent, non-food items’ prices have gone up by 9.2 percent, and paid services’ prices have increased by 5.3 percent in Jan. 2017 compared to Jan. 2016.
