KAMAZ PJSC, a truck manufacturer based in Tatarstan, Russia, plans to open modern service network in Azerbaijan in the future, Director General of KAMAZ PJSC Sergey Kogogin told Trend.

He said that Azerbaijan has sufficient potential for the growth of KAMAZ service network.

“I’m sure there are KAMAZ trucks in Azerbaijani settlements, but these trucks remain from the Soviet times, and people repair them on their own,” Kogogin said. “But this will no longer be possible regarding new trucks, which are too complex, and their complexity will only grow. Therefore, this year we will also think about how to open several modern quality service centers in Azerbaijan in 3-5 years.”

KAMAZ PJSC produces a wide range of commercial vehicles: trucks (more than 40 models, over 1,500 configurations, right hand drive vehicles), trailers, buses, tractors, engines and various tools. КАМАZ PJSC has historically been positioning itself in the 14-40 ton gross vehicle weight (GVW) truck market.

The Ganja Auto Plant carries out the assembly and sale of KAMAZ trucks in Azerbaijan.
